An orthopedic knee brace improves the quality of life for dogs who limp and have joint pain.

Designed to assist dogs suffering from conditions such as arthritis, cruciate ligament injuries, meniscus tears, dysplasia, arthrosis, patella problems, and tendinitis, the Knee Brace is a customizable external support for the knee. When fitted correctly, the Knee Braces (either Right or Left) have an elastic and stabilizing effect, helping to overcome lameness and joint pain (prior to any surgery and as a recovery aid following surgery), which allows the dog to quickly regain a normal walking pattern, while, at the same time, promoting an improved quality of life at the same time.Under the abdomen, over the back, and secured with Velcro, the brace covers the knee area.A size is determined by measuring the circumference around the highest part of the leg (around the top of the thigh & under the belly/groin), which should correspond to the height.

In addition to reducing pain and swelling, the knee brace helps improve balance between the muscles involved. A dog with improved flexibility in tight muscles can return to a normal walking gait in the affected limb very quickly. With the slight pressure exerted by this surface brace, the joints are alleviated of their burden, increasing their stability, and preventing a more serious injury.

In addition to its elastic properties, the brace has a stabilizing effect as well.If the dog’s cruciate ligaments are damaged, he can wear a knee brace before surgery (along with the prescribed treatment) to prevent muscle loss.It is possible for the dog to use the brace again after five days after surgery if the swelling has subsided.
